Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our skilled team of professionals is the backbone of Michigan Bean Festival. Their ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop. Read on to learn more about some of our incredible team members.
Megan is our newest member of the team. She joined us October of 2019. Megan is a local educator and has been involved in the community. She will be involved in a variety of events including the grand parade
Growing up going to the Michigan Bean Festival as a kid. Renae wanted to help grow and continue the tradition for others. Renae has been a board member since 2014. She currently is the Treasurer, Entertainment Coordinator, Manages Crafter/Vendor, Advertising, Social media and various events throughout the year.
Becky has been a part of our team since 2011. She shares her love for the MBFA by supporting duties all year long. Becky has held office as Vice President, Trustee, Car show and Pie auction chairman. She currently has many jobs including: Secretary, Sponsorship, Manages Craft/Vendors, Chairmen of Volleyball, Annual Egg hunt, Advertising and manages social media. She is constantly working on ideas to better our festival.
Here is our veteran of the team. Being the grandson of founder Jack McAlpine, he has been carrying on this family tradition for over 20 years. In the past you could always find Steve handling business in the Entertainment Tent. Steve now handles our grounds, and will be Motorsports Park Coordinator this year.
Dawn has been a part of our board since 2008. She has been our Secretary, Chairmen of the baby contest, Casino Trip organizer. Dawn is currently serving as trustee and Chairmen of Bingo.
Stephanie has volunteered her time in the Entertainment Tent. She will be managing our Queens throughout the year as our Queen Coordinator.
